Job summary

Onsite Safety, Inc. is seeking a field service technician trainee to install and maintain safety systems on active jobsites. You will travel in company trucks, load and organize equipment, and document work via mobile apps as you grow your technical and leadership skills.

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid driver's license with 3 years of verifiable driving experience.
  • Ability to learn and use mobile applications and company technology.

Responsibilities

  • Follow jobsite safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company standards.
  • Maintain high standards for safety, installation quality, productivity, and care of company equipment.
  • Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and quality evaluations as you advance.

What You Will Do:

Work Environment and Time Requirements

This is a field-based position requiring regular travel by company vehicle to active construction sites within the assigned market and periodic travel to other markets based on business and operational needs.

Service Technicians must be able to:
  • Work in all seasons and weather conditions.
  • Work at various heights, on rooftops, and around elevated or open work areas when properly trained and authorized.
  • Use ladders, scaffolds, and other approved access equipment.
  • Lift, carry, load, unload, and position a minimum of 55 lbs. of equipment and materials.
  • Safely operate company vehicles, power tools, and other field equipment in accordance with company requirements and applicable laws.
  • Work overtime, early mornings, evenings, nights, or weekends when required by workload or jobsite schedules.
  • Maintain required training, certifications, and qualifications for assigned work.
  • Meet all applicable Onsite Safety, customer, OSHA, fleet, and jobsite safety requirements.
