Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two to three years applicable experience.
• A state issued driver’s license with a driving record clear of infractions as defined by current insurance mandates.

Responsibilities

• Make scheduled rounds inside and outside of the building to maintain a secure environment.
• Schedule and ensure that all fire and disaster drills are conducted for each shift and accurate detailed logs are kept.
• Maintain security records, including safety inspections, repair needs of equipment, unusual circumstances, and service requests; ensure safety equipment is in good working order.
• Respond to all fire alarms and emergency calls and notify appropriate team members as necessary.
• Have a good working knowledge of all life safety systems.
• Maintain daily guard report of shift with detailed explanations of occurrences and ensure information is shared between shifts.
• Control entry/exit of guests, residents, team members, vendors, etc., with proper identification as requested.
• Perform light maintenance such as changing bulbs and unclogging toilets/drains as needed.
• Transport residents and team members on/off the property as needed.
• Deliver packages to residents and distribute in-house mail.
• Greet residents and guests, assist with luggage and packages, and park and retrieve resident vehicles.

A few details about the role:
