Pet Food Experts, LLC in Denver, PA is seeking a detail-driven safety and compliance leader to oversee all aspects of OSHA, FDA, food safety, and environmental regulations at our distribution center.

You will lead safety programs, audits, training, regulatory reporting, and act as primary liaison for audits and contractors, with 10–20% travel and a 40-50 hours/week schedule.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree preferred; certifications in OSHA/Food Safety a plus.
• 3+ years’ experience in safety, compliance, and/or food safety (distribution or manufacturing preferred).
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, FDA, EPA, and DOT regulations.
• Skilled in training, auditing, and working cross-functionally.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to travel 10–20%.

Responsabilidades

• Support new projects with safety expertise (facilities, equipment, product development).
• Stay current on regulations and guide leadership on compliance best practices.
• Oversee and support on-site physical security practices, including access control, visitor management, security procedures, facility security assessments, and response to security-related incidents.
• Partner with site leadership and external security providers, as needed, to identify security risks and implement appropriate measures to protect employees, facilities, inventory, equipment, and other company assets.

What You'll Do:

What We’re Looking For:

• Background in Transportation Management (camera systems), Occupational Health/Safety (OSHA), and Food Safety (FDA).
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; certifications in OSHA/Food Safety a plus.
• 3+ years’ experience in safety, compliance, and/or food safety (distribution or manufacturing preferred).
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, FDA, EPA, and DOT regulations.
• Skilled in training, auditing, and working cross-functionally.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to travel 10–20%.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, onsite in Denver, PA. The schedule may vary depending on the needs of the warehouse. (40-50 hours per week)

Compensation:

70,000-80,000 per year DOE
