What You'll Own

Champion Safety Across the Organization

• Design, implement, and continuously improve company-wide safety programs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and all applicable safety requirements.
• Conduct field inspections, audits, and risk assessments across multiple projects.
• Identify hazards before they become incidents.

Lead Training That Actually Makes an Impact

• Develop engaging safety presentations, workshops, and toolbox talks.
• Train supervisors, managers, and field crews on safety best practices.
• Coordinate ongoing education to keep teams current on evolving regulations and standards.
• Lead incident and near-miss investigations.
• Perform root cause analysis.
• Deliver actionable recommendations that prevent future incidents.
• Analyze company safety trends and recommend improvements.

Build Systems That Scale

• Develop and improve SOPs, policies, technical documentation, and safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate compliance records, logs, schedules, and reporting systems.
• Track safety KPIs and present meaningful insights to leadership.

Be a Trusted Partner

• Represent Alpha professionally with OSHA, clients, vendors, and regulatory agencies when needed.
• Collaborate with project leadership to solve safety challenges proactively.

• Support inventory management for safety equipment and supplies.

What You Bring

Experience

• 5+ years of safety leadership experience, preferably within construction or a related industry.
• Experience developing and implementing safety programs.
• Experience conducting field inspections, investigations, audits, and training.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.

Technical Knowledge

• Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
• Experience creating SOPs, policies, and technical documentation.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and technical writing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.

Leadership

• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to coach, mentor, and influence employees at every level.
