Atlantis Management Group in Mount Vernon, NY is seeking a Safety & Risk Manager to develop and oversee the company's safety, loss prevention, and risk management programs. This full-time professional role focuses on reducing claims frequency and severity while protecting employees and company assets.

You will lead safety audits, training, incident investigations, and collaborate with insurers and brokers to optimize the cost of risk.

Qualifications

• Experience in safety management, risk management, insurance, claims administration, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of workers' compensation, general liability, and casualty insurance programs.
• Experience with brokers, insurers, TPAs, and claims management processes.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to implement practical solutions to reduce the organization's total cost of risk.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain workplace safety programs and policies.
• Conduct site inspections and safety audits to identify and mitigate hazards.
• Lead accident prevention initiatives and promote a culture of safety throughout the organization.
• Coordinate employee safety training and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-miss events and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze loss trends, claims activity, and emerging risks to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Work closely with insurance brokers, carriers, TPAs, and legal counsel in the management of claims.
• Oversee claims reporting, investigation, and resolution processes.
• Monitor and evaluate retained losses and insurance program performance.
• Develop strategies to reduce claim frequency and improve loss outcomes.
