Now Hiring: Safety & Risk Manager – City of St. Cloud, FL
Are you a proactive leader with a passion for fostering a culture of safety and reducing risk? We’re seeking a Safety & Risk Manager to join the City of St. Cloud and play a key role in ensuring a safe, healthy, and productive workplace for all city employees.
This position involves taking ownership of citywide safety and risk management programs—driving innovation through accident prevention, industrial hygiene compliance, and liability claims management. Your expertise will empower employees across departments to maintain safety while ensuring regulatory compliance.
Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Occupational Health and Safety, Human Resources, or a related field, along with at least two years of experience in Safety, Risk Management, Benefit Administration, or Insurance. Equivalent combinations of education and experience are acceptable. Certification such as CSP is preferred. Valid Florida driver’s license required.
Includes sitting, handling, talking, occasional standing, walking, reaching, and lifting up to 20 pounds. Proficiency in mathematics, language, reasoning, and the ability to work in a quiet environment are necessary.
