Job summary

Kalitta Air, Llc is seeking a Safety Coordinator to support the daily management, administration, security, and operation of the Safety Department. The role focuses on SMS management, data analysis, and software support, reporting to the Director of Safety.

The position involves assisting with risk-based analysis, accident prevention activities, and preparation of reports and presentations to keep stakeholders informed of safety program status.

Qualifications

• Experience in airline operations or similar safety programs preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.
• Strong project management and analytical skills.
• Ability to write reports and present data clearly.
• Able to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in administering and monitoring the Safety Management System (SMS).
• Support risk-based analysis, accident prevention and reduction activities.
• Help develop and implement software systems used by the safety department.
• Aid in data collection for Reliance and related programs.
• Provide technical support in using Reliance across departments.
• Prepare management trending analysis reports and charts.
