Job summary

Amcor is seeking a full-time team member in Bowling Green, KY, to support security, safety, and quality in production operations. You will monitor processes, handle packaging duties, and help ensure compliance with food safety and plant rules, contributing to a safe, efficient workplace.

You will perform routine tasks, record production data, and assist with machine operations and housekeeping. The role requires physical mobility, English proficiency, and a positive safety mindset.

Qualifications

• 4.1 Capable of physical mobility including sitting, bending, twisting, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• 4.2 Attendance record and overtime requirements.
• 4.3 High school diploma or GED equivalency preferred.
• 4.4 Read, write and speak English.
• 4.5 Past experience / proven ability within the specified disciplines.
• 4.6 Negative drug screen test results.

Responsibilities

• Observe all Safety precautions, Food Safety requirements and Plant rules to prevent injury to self or others and to prevent loss of material or damage to equipment.
• Follow and wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Maintain good housekeeping and 5S.
• Transcribe product specification information onto shipping cartons.
• Weigh, tape, lift, and stack filled shipping cartons onto pallets (if required).
• Perform duties quickly to avoid production back up.
• Perform visual inspection of production and alert Shift Coordinator or QA of noticeable defects.
• Perform job duties associated with scrap parts produced.
• Completes daily report of parts produced, scrapped or placed on hold.
• Tend to machines such as Presses, Assembly, Auxiliary, Printing, and Lining equipment, which perform in production areas, according to machine standards.
• Perform routine housekeeping and maintenance task as assigned by Shift Coordinator.
