A leading logistics company is seeking a Data & Engineering Clerk to join their Industrial Engineering team. This role involves managing data integrity, creating reports, and supporting operational efficiencies through analysis. Ideal candidates will demonstrate advanced data entry skills, effective bilingual communication, and the ability to work independently while assisting diverse teams.

We currently manage 5.6 million square feet of warehouse space, strategically located throughout the US, with facilities in Los Angeles, CA; Chicago, IL, N. Monroe, NJ; Portland, OR; Houston, TX; and Laredo, TX.
This role is a part of the Industrial Engineering team at Source Logistics. Safety, Quality, and Labor Management Clerk will interact with our operations team, and our field engineers, to help establish operational performance metrics and reporting that leverage data analysis. The Data & Engineering Clerk is expected to demonstrate insightful, analytical, and logic-based efforts in both data-driven and operations-integrated environments. The best candidate would be someone confident in data-entry; handling large amounts of data in a multitude of formats. Excellent communications skills, both English and Spanish, are essential as the Data & Engineering Clerk will be somebody capable of working with minimal amounts of supervision while directly supporting process improvement and performance based coaching.
•Accurately input, validate, and maintain labor standards and performance data in the LMS platform to ensure data integrity and real-time availability for decision-making.
•Develop and distribute operational performance reports using Excel and LMS tools; create actionable dashboards for supervisors, engineers, and executives.
•Analyze labor and productivity metrics to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities that support performance-based coaching and process improvements.
•Assist with time studies and process observations by collaborating with field engineers to collect, organize, and analyze operational data across facilities.
•Audit LMS, WMS, and Excel-based tracking tools regularly to ensure data accuracy and consistency, resolving discrepancies in collaboration with relevant teams.
•Provide bilingual communication support (English/Spanish) to ensure clear translation and delivery of performance data, coaching feedback, and process documentation.
•Train frontline supervisors and staff on LMS usage and best practices for tracking productivity; act as a point of contact for LMS troubleshooting and user support.
•Support safety, food safety, and quality initiatives by conducting performance-related data analytics in coordination with the safety and quality teams.
•Assist in the development of SOPs, standard work templates, and visual work instructions that reflect floor-level practices and engineer observations.
•Participate in Kaizen events and root cause analyses by providing timely and accurate data support to help measure improvements and quantify results.
•Work independently and manage multiple priorities, meeting deadlines while maintaining proactive communication with engineering and operations teams.
•Support Easy Metrics clients with inquiries and product-related concerns, helping to ensure smooth adoption and effective use of the platform.
