Job summary

The Lewis Group is seeking a Health & Safety Manager to lead our safety programs across sites. You will oversee HASP development, field audits, and incident investigations, ensuring regulatory compliance and continuous safety improvements.

Responsibilities include training delivery (OSHA and industry programs), participating in safety committees, and supporting emergency response and on-call coverage. Travel to company locations is required.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and FMCSA regulations.
• Strong ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
• Experience implementing health and safety programs and audits.
• Ability to manage multiple safety priorities and deadlines.
• Willingness to travel and participate in on-call coverage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Corporate Health & Safety Plan (HASP) to ensure compliance and best practices.
• Develop, review, and approve site-specific HASPs, JSA, and PHA.
• Serve as an active member of the State-Certified Safety Committee.
• Mentor and oversee the Safety Liaison Program.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, near-misses and identify root causes.
