Job summary

The Hamilton County Engineer’s Office is seeking a Safety Program Manager to lead occupational safety across roadway maintenance, fleet, facilities, and field operations. This hands-on role works with senior leadership to implement safety improvements and ensure regulatory compliance.

Starting pay is $29.61/hour with 40-hour weeks and a comprehensive benefits package, including holidays, retirement, medical/dental/vision, and tuition reimbursement. Deadline to apply: September 30, 2026.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety management or related field plus 5 years in safety management.
• OSHA/BWC/PERRP compliance knowledge and training.
• Ability to lead investigations and develop corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Assess and improve safety and loss prevention programs and policies.
• Conduct inspections and risk assessments; implement corrective measures.
• Develop and deliver job-specific safety training; maintain records.
