  • Support contractor safety programs, including contractor expectations, field compliance, and performance improvement.
  • Develop, coordinate, and deliver instructor‑led safety training.
  • Deliver training in areas including LOTO, hot work, heat illness prevention, stop‑work authority, and forklift safety/certification.
  • Support emergency safety needs and provide technical guidance to operations as necessary.
  • Partner with management and employees to strengthen employee engagement, hazard recognition, stop‑work practices, and overall safety culture.
  • Assist with continuous improvement of safety programs, procedures, training materials, and management systems.
  • Maintain accurate EHS documentation, records, reports, and program materials.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders ranging from field employees and contractors to operational and senior leadership.

  • Working knowledge of LOTO, confined space, electrical safety, contractor safety, and vehicle/driver safety programs.
  • Experience delivering safety training to field‑based employees.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, regulatory interpretation, and problem‑solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with operational and safety teams.
  • Ability and willingness to travel throughout Northern California approximately 20‑40% of the time, including occasional overnight travel.
Preferred
