Job summary

You will develop safety policies, train staff, investigate incidents, and maintain comprehensive safety records in line with federal, state, and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans and directs the safety program to ensure a safe, healthy, accident-free workplace.
• Leads training for managers and employees on site safety practices, fire prevention, and handling of chemicals and equipment.
• Inspects facilities for hazards and follows up on corrective actions.
• Provides safety information, signs, barriers, and warnings to prevent hazards.
• Investigates incidents and prepares findings and recommendations.
• Maintains safety records and submits required reports to regulators.
