Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce safety in accordance with OSHA standards and company policies.

• Develop and implement site-specific Health & Safety Plans and Job Hazard Analyses.
• Lead and coordinate safety training, including annual training and toolbox talks.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents; prepare reports with root cause analysis and preventative measures.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to integrate safety into project planning and execution.
• Track and maintain safety documentation, reports, and jobsite compliance records.
• Support OSHA reporting and ensure compliance with all safety documentation requirements.

Role Description

Vazquez Commercial Contracting LLC is seeking a qualified and motivated Safety Professional to support and enforce safety standards across our construction projects. This role is key to maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations. Position will report to the Director of Safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and enforce safety in accordance with OSHA standards, local regulations, and company policies
• Audit, update, and maintain company safety programs
• Ensure availability and proper use of PPE; manage ordering and distribution of safety equipment
• Conduct job site inspections and risk assessments; identify hazards and implement corrective actions
• Develop and implement site-specific Health & Safety Plans and Job Hazard Analyses
• Lead and coordinate safety training, including annual training and toolbox talks
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents; prepare reports with root cause analysis and preventative measures
• Collaborate with Project Managers to integrate safety into project planning and execution
• Track and maintain safety documentation, reports, and jobsite compliance records
• Support OSHA reporting and ensure compliance with all safety documentation requirements
