Job summary

Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, VA is hiring a Safety Partner for the night shift (7P–7A) on a full-time basis. The Safety Partner helps provide a safe hospital environment for patients at risk of suicide, falls, wandering, agitation, or other risk behaviors, supporting care plans to maintain or improve function during the stay.

The role requires a High School Diploma and completion of a Sentara Safety Partner Training Course; BLS is required within 90 days of hire.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)

Certification/Licensure

Applicants without prior experience or current health sciences program status must successfully complete a Sentara Safety Partner Training Course in addition to core competencies during orientation.

BLS required within 90 days of hire.

Experience

Previous healthcare experience or enrollment in a health sciences program (Preferred)

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $17.82 - $25.65 hourly.

Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
