The Safety Officer will play a crucial role in safeguarding the well-being of our workforce and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. This role will involve closely monitoring construction activities, identifying potential hazards, and implementing proactive safety measures to mitigate risks. Your contributions will directly impact the success of our projects and the health and safety of all involved.

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and enforce site-specific safety plans and programs for construction projects.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments on-site to identify and resolve hazards.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal safety regulations, as well as internal safety policies.
• Provide training and safety awareness programs for workers, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Monitor and report on safety incidents, near-misses, and accidents, and lead investigations to determine causes.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure safety measures are integrated into all aspects of the project.
• Maintain up-to-date records of safety training, certifications, and safety audits.
• Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents, and provide corrective action reports to prevent future occurrences.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of safety equipment on-site.
