Harlem Children's Zone seeks a dedicated Safety Officer to ensure the safety and welfare of students and staff at all HCZ buildings. This part-time role involves conducting risk assessments, monitoring student activity, and maintaining order. Candidates must possess a high school diploma, relevant security certifications, and demonstrate strong communication and observation skills.
Harlem Children’s Zone (HCZ) — a world-renowned education and poverty-fighting organization based in New York — seeks an enthusiastic, dedicated, and mission aligned Safety Officer with the Safety Department.
The Safety Officer will bring a passion for the mission of Harlem Children’s Zone: break the cycle of intergenerational poverty with comprehensive, on-the-ground programming that builds up opportunities for children and families to thrive in school, work, and life.
We are seeking part-timeSafety Officers to provide safety and welfare for the students and staff at all HCZ buildings. Safety Officers report directly to the Security Director or Program Administrator.
