Job summary

Per Scholas is seeking a Critical Infrastructure Expert Trainer to join our National Training Team in Columbus, OH. The role focuses on translating electrical and mechanical systems into structured, high‑quality learning experiences for adult learners in uptime‑sensitive environments.

The ideal candidate combines hands‑on data center experience with instructional delivery skills, strong safety awareness, and ability to use AI tools for prep and assessment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in data centers as a Critical Facility Engineer/Technician.
• 2-5 years delivering instructional content to technicians and operators.
• Strong technical background with ability to convey complex topics.
• Proven ability to teach adult learners in structured training environments.
• Experience using Zoom or in-person training delivery.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor‑led training for entry to mid‑level roles in data centers.
• Conduct daily instruction, assessments, attendance, tutoring, and progress checks.
• Teach electrical, UPS, cooling, BMS/DCIM, and related systems.
• Facilitate hands‑on labs with safety practices (OSHA/NFPA).
• Maintain LMS records, student grades, and certifications.
