Job summary

HazTek Safety Management is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to oversee safety operations on our commercial construction projects in Van Wert, OH. This role focuses on ensuring OSHA compliance, implementing best safety practices, and fostering a culture where every worker goes home safe.

You will conduct daily safety meetings, supervise subcontractors, manage incident investigations, and enforce fall protection, scaffolding, and excavation standards across sites.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years direct construction safety experience
• Degree in a safety related field preferred
• OSHA 510 and/or BCSP certification preferred
• Advanced knowledge of construction safety standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills
