The Weitz Company is seeking a Safety Manager (Traveling) to provide regional safety leadership for our data-center-focused projects. Based in Cedar Rapids, IA, this role requires overseeing safety programs, incident investigations, and training while supporting field crews across multiple sites.
You will drive compliance with safety standards, coordinate inspections, and work with site teams to implement proactive safety measures in a fast-paced environment. Travel is required.
Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Contract: Full-Time
Hours: 6 days per week, Monday – Saturday (58 hours per week)

The Safety Manager supplies safety leadership and oversight for an assigned region. The Safety Manager functions as an expert resource to the business for consistent implementation of company safety standards and programs, provides safety training, supports preconstruction safety planning, and performs jobsite safety auditing and incident investigations. The Safety Manager reports to the Regional Safety Manager or Safety Director and may manage Project Safety Managers and/or other Safety Managers assigned to the business.
