Role Description

The Safety Manager/Project Manager Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Collierville, TN. This role supports both safety management and project administration on active construction sites. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring site safety conditions, assisting with safety orientations and training sessions, and helping ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and company standards. The role also involves documenting and reporting incidents, supporting accident investigations, and maintaining safety records and permits. On the project management side, responsibilities include assisting with scheduling, coordinating subcontractors, tracking project documentation, and communicating with field supervisors and project managers to keep work progressing safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Occupational Health and Industrial Safety to help maintain safe working conditions on construction sites.
• Candidates should possess skills in Safety Training and Accident Investigation to effectively educate teams and respond to incidents.
• Candidates should possess skills related to Environment Health and Safety (EHS) to support regulatory compliance and environmental stewardship.
• Knowledge of construction operations, basic project scheduling, and documentation management is beneficial.
• Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail are required to coordinate safety activities and project tasks.
• Experience in commercial or industrial construction, and familiarity with OSHA regulations and local safety codes, is preferred.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA 30, first aid/CPR, or safety-related credentials) and a high school diploma or equivalent are required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in safety, construction management, or a related field is a plus.
