Job summary

F.A. Wilhelm Construction is seeking a Safety Manager to lead and enforce our comprehensive safety program across projects. You will identify hazards, conduct regular site inspections, and ensure adherence to OSHA standards and company policies to protect workers and property.

The role requires 3+ years in industrial, cast-in-place, and commercial construction, with OSHA 30 certification and strong communication skills for collaboration with leadership and field teams.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of OSHA standards and construction safety practices.
• Experience leading safety programs on construction projects.
• Ability to conduct site inspections, investigations and safety trainings.

Responsibilities

• Manage and enforce the project safety program across assigned sites.
• Conduct weekly toolbox talks and safety orientations.
• Inspect job sites and document safety observations and incidents.
• Investigate accidents, document findings and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal and owner requirements.
