Tiello LLC partners with a reputable HVAC contractor seeking an experienced Safety Manager to lead a California-wide safety program. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with OSHA/Cal/OSHA, coordinating with healthcare and data-center environments, and building a strong safety culture across field crews and project teams.

You will develop and implement programs, conduct audits, and lead incident investigations while interfacing with hospital safety officers and data center teams to meet

Qualifications

• 5+ years of safety management experience in construction or HVAC contracting
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA and Cal/OSHA regulations
• Experience with healthcare or data-center safety requirements (ICRA/ILSM/OSHPD) a plus
• OSHA 30 certification required; OSHA 500/501 a plus
• Experience managing safety across multiple occupied sites and coordinating with facilities

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain company-wide safety programs for HVAC/mechanical work
• Ensure OSHA/Cal/OSHA compliance and hospital/data-center safety requirements
• Conduct regular jobsite safety inspections and lead corrective actions
• Lead incident investigations and root-cause analysis and reporting
• Deliver safety training for field crews, foremen, and subcontractors (OSHA 10/30, fall protection, LOTO, etc.)
• Coordinate with hospital/facility safety officers and data center teams on safety practices
• Integrate safety planning into project scheduling for occupied environments
• Maintain safety documentation and training records for audits
• Manage workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs
• Track and report safety metrics to leadership
• Support pre-task planning and toolbox talks, stay updated on regulations
