Effective written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills. Must have a working knowledge of Caddell's Corporate Safety Program. Working knowledge of applicable OSHA or Corps of Engineers EM385-1-1. Ability to use Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, as well as web-based tools (i.e, ProCore).
Minimum high school diploma/GED and 10 years' experience in safety management work of a progressive nature with at least 5 years' of experience on similar projects. An average of at least 24 hours of formal safety training each year for the past 5 years with training for competent person status for at least the following five areas of competency: Excavation; Scaffolding; Fall protection; Hazardous energy; and Confined space.
Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH). OSHA 30-hour, USACE's 24-Hour EM 385-1-1 training within the last 5 years. Experience working on at least two heavy civil design build projects with a construction value of $10 million+ per project. First Aid/CPR, Competent Persons Training
