Actalent is seeking a Safety Manager to lead site safety programs and ensure compliance with OSHA, FDA, and pharmaceutical industry standards at our Mt. Pleasant, WI location.

The role focuses on risk assessments, incident investigations, and delivering comprehensive safety training to construction teams. Responsibilities include conducting audits, maintaining safety documentation, and coordinating safety initiatives with engineers and project managers to integrate safety into all construction

Qualifications

Job Description

As a Safety Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing safety plans that align with OSHA, FDA, and pharmaceutical industry standards. You will conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards related to chemical handling, cleanroom construction, and specialized equipment installation. Your role will ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations through regular site inspections and audits. You will also lead investigations of incidents and recommend corrective actions, coordinate and deliver safety training programs, and maintain accurate safety documentation.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $70.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
