Atalnt Llc in Phoenix, AZ seeks an experienced Safety Manager to lead and strengthen the company’s safety program across commercial construction projects in Arizona. This in-office role collaborates with Project Managers, Superintendents, and leadership to ensure compliance and reduce risk.

The ideal candidate will deliver OSHA training, lead incident investigations, and develop JHAs, PTPS, and safety procedures while traveling to active sites about 25% of the time.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction safety management experience at the manager level.
• OSHA 500, OSHA 510, OSHA 30, OSHA 10 certifications required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices.
• Experience with hazard recognition, risk assessment, and incident prevention.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a related safety field.

Responsabilités

About the Opportunity

Our client is a leading commercial mechanical contractor specializing in HVAC, plumbing, piping, sheet metal, and electrical construction throughout Arizona. They are committed to safety, quality, integrity, and creating a strong safety-first culture across all projects.

We are seeking an experienced Safety Manager to lead and strengthen the company’s safety program across commercial construction projects throughout Arizona. This individual will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, and executive leadership to ensure compliance, reduce risk, and promote a proactive safety environment.

This is an in-office position with approximately 25% travel to active construction sites throughout Arizona.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the company-wide construction safety program
• Conduct job site safety inspections, audits, and compliance reviews
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses while identifying root causes and corrective actions
• Prepare detailed investigation reports, documentation, and recommendations
• Develop and deliver OSHA safety training programs
• Lead toolbox talks, safety meetings, Pre-Task Plans (PTPs), and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs)
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies

• Partner with field leadership to improve safety performance and reduce workplace risks

• OSHA 500 certification required
• OSHA 510 certification required

• Proven ability to develop and present safety training programs

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Construction Management, or related field
• Experience supporting commercial mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, piping, or electrical construction projects
