Job summary

Sheakley Workforce Staffing seeks a Safety Manager to oversee roofing safety on a four-month project at a Meta Data Center in Chester, VA. You will maintain a safe work environment and lead daily safety operations for a crew of 20–30 workers.

Responsibilities include site inspections, OSHA compliance, toolbox talks, incident investigations, and coordinating with project leadership and subcontractors. The role requires CHST and OSHA 510 certification and the ability to work 45–50 hours per week

Qualifications

• CHST certification and OSHA 510 certification are required.
• Experience supporting roofing or construction projects is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and jobsite safety practices.

Compensation

• Rate: $55 - $60/HR
• Per Diem: $125/day
• Pay Frequency: Weekly

Schedule

• Hours: 45-50 Hours/Week
• Schedule: Monday-Friday | Possible Saturdays Based on Site Needs
• Shift: 0800-1700

Project Scope

The Safety Manager will support a roofing construction project at a Meta Data Center in Chester, VA. This position is responsible for maintaining a safe work environment while overseeing daily safety operations for roofing crews working in an active construction setting.

The selected candidate will provide field-level safety leadership for a crew of approximately 20-30 workers. Responsibilities include conducting site inspections, monitoring compliance with OSHA standards, identifying and mitigating hazards, leading safety meetings, and ensuring all personnel follow established site-specific safety procedures.

This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to work directly with project leadership and subcontractors, and a proactive approach to incident prevention and safety performance management throughout the duration of the project.
