The Safety Manager, BESS will lead all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) functions at an assigned battery energy storage project site. This role is responsible for implementing and sustaining Moss’s BESS safety programs, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements, and partnering with Operations, Electrical, and Commissioning teams to safely manage high‑risk work.

This position requires frequent physical activity in both indoor and outdoor environments, including exposure to varying weather conditions. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must be able to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds and may occasionally be required to handle loads exceeding that amount with assistance. The employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, elevated work areas, loud noise levels, and extreme temperatures.
