Job summary

Packaging Services Industries, Inc. in Williamsport, MD is seeking a Safety / Quality Manager to lead safety programs and ensure regulatory compliance in corrugated manufacturing processes.

You will drive a proactive safety culture across all levels and partner with operations on equipment safety and incident prevention. The role requires 3–5 years of safety management experience, strong OSHA/MOSH knowledge, and a focus on training and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years minimum experience in safety management within manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and MOSH regulations, ANSI standards, and EH&S best practices.
• Excellent communication and training abilities.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement effective safety solutions.
• CSP, ASP, or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for zero-incident culture.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor safety programs tailored to corrugated manufacturing processes.
• Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action plans.
• Train and coach employees on safety procedures, PPE usage, and emergency response protocols.
• Collaborate with production managers to integrate safety into daily operations and new equipment installations.
• Participate in National Safety workshops to develop preventative risk control practices.
• Prepare and file annual safety reports (OSHA 300, etc).
• Travel and work at other sites is approximately 20%.

The PSI Group in Williamsport MD, a leading manufacturer of corrugated boxes and distributor of packaging supplies, is seeking a Safety Manager to join our team. As our Safety Manager, you will be the driving force behind creating and maintaining a safe, compliant, and proactive work environment. What You'll Do
