LeoForce is seeking a Safety Manager in Tacoma, WA to oversee safety for a fleet of 27 commercial motor vehicles. You will lead FMCSA and DOT compliance programs, develop training, and investigate incidents to prevent recurrence.

Job Details

Fleet Safety Manager oversees driver safety, vehicle compliance, and risk management programs for our 27 commercial motor vehicle operations. Core duties typically include:

• Compliance: Ensuring adherence to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
• Training & Onboarding: Developing and executing safety training programs, defensive driving courses, and orientation for new drivers.
• Incident Investigation: Investigating accidents, injuries, and vehicle damage, then implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Monitoring & Audits: Tracking driver logs, Hours of Service (HOS), electronic logging devices (ELD), and conducting regular vehicle safety audits.
• Policy Enforcement: Enforcing company safety policies and maintaining safety records, drug-testing programs, and compliance documentation.
