Job summary

Fanatics Collectibles is seeking a Safety Manager to lead environmental, health, and safety programs across our operations. You will develop policies, train staff, and ensure regulatory compliance to protect workers and the environment.

The role requires hands-on risk assessment, incident investigations, and collaboration with facilities and operations teams to drive continuous improvements. This is a full-time position located in Texas.

Qualifications

Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT regulations and reporting.
Experience developing and implementing health, safety, and environmental programs.
Ability to assess risks, perform audits, and drive corrective actions.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental, health, and safety laws and regulations.

The Safety Manager is responsible for overseeing and implementing programs to ensure a safe, healthy, and compliant work environment for all employees. This role involves developing, monitoring, and enforcing environmental, health, and safety policies, procedures, and regulations to minimize risks, comply with legal requirements, and protect the well-being of workers and the surrounding environment.

Key Responsibilities

Compliance & Regulation Management:

Ensure company compliance with all local, state, and federal environmental, health, and safety laws and regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA, DOT, etc.).
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of environmental, health, and safety regulations and best practices.
Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory agencies.

Program Development & Implementation:

Develop, implement, and continuously improve EHS policies, programs, and training.
Manage hazard assessments, risk analysis, and safety audits.
Develop emergency response plans and coordinate drills to prepare for workplace incidents.

Employee Safety & Training:

Organize and lead safety training programs for all employees, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Conduct safety orientations for new hires and ongoing safety awareness sessions.
Promote a safety culture by encouraging reporting of safety concerns and near-misses.

Incident Investigation & Reporting:

Lead investigations into workplace accidents, injuries, and environmental incidents to identity root causes.
Document findings and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Report incidents and track progress on the implementation of safety improvements.

Environmental Stewardship:

Oversee environmental compliance, waste management, and sustainability initiatives.
Manage hazardous materials handling, storage, and disposal procedures.

Continuous Improvement:

Analyze workplace safety data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with leadership and department managers to drive continuous safety improvements.
Establish and review key performance indicators (KPIs) for EHS goals.
