Job summary

Image Associates Inc. is seeking a Safety and Environmental Compliance Lead to work with plant supervision, HR, and leadership to develop and maintain a comprehensive program in Northern Iowa.

You will aim to reduce accidents, standardize safety practices, and manage corrective actions, with relocation assistance available. You will coordinate job hazard analyses, develop training, conduct safety audits, and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state/local regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Safety and Health, Engineering, or similar.
• 3–5 years of experience in a safety management role in manufacturing.
• Broad knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and state/local safety and environmental requirements.
• Familiarity with metal forming and shaping machinery, guarding, electrical safety and lock-out/tag-out.

• Perform or coordinate job hazard analyses/job safety analyses for manufacturing operations.
• Develop an employee training program focused on safety.
• Implement accident prevention and injury prevention processes and procedures.
• Maintain a comprehensive safety program for a manufacturing plant, including emergency preparedness.

Job description

Working closely with plant supervisors, human resources, and corporate leadership, will develop and maintain a comprehensive Safety and Environmental Compliance program. You will be responsible for reducing plant accidents, overseeing the standardization of safety practices, and managing corrective action. This job is in Northern Iowa. Relocation assistance is available.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelors' degree in Environmental Safety and Health, Engineering, or similar required.
• At least 3-5 years' experience working in a safety management position in a manufacturing environment.
• Should have broad knowledge about OSHA, EPA, and state and local safety and environmental requirements.
• Should know about metal forming and shaping machinery, with an understanding of machine guarding, electrical safety, and lock-out/tag-out.
