Qualifications

• OSHA 500-Hour Construction Safety Certification is required.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a construction safety professional.

• Excellent communication skills to train and engage workers at all levels.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety inspections of construction sites to identify hazards and ensure OSHA compliance.

• Provide safety training and orientation to construction workers, supervisors, and management.

• Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and team members to promote safe work practices.
• Ensure all workers are equipped with PPE and follow safety guidelines.
• Stay up to date with OSHA regulations and industry best practices, advising management on regulatory changes.

Skillforce is se eking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Safety Professional to join our team on a data center in Sparks, NV. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of safety coordinator experience in the construction industry, with a strong focus on ensuring workplace safety through proactive hazard identification, compliance with OSHA regulations, and continuous improvement of safety protocols.

Pay Range: $40-$45/hr, Based On Experience

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular safety inspections of construction sites to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.

Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs and procedures to prevent accidents and promote a culture of safety.

Provide safety training and orientation to construction workers, supervisors, and management.

Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training, and incident reports.

Investigate accidents and near-miss incidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.

Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other team members to promote safe work practices.

Ensure all workers are equipped with necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and are following safety guidelines.

Stay up to date with OSHA regulations and industry safety best practices, and provide guidance to management on changes to regulatory requirements.
