Diversified Safety Services is seeking an experienced on-site Site Safety Manager for a large-scale construction project in Pennsylvania. You will lead safety oversight, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with project and client safety requirements on a full-time basis.

The successful candidate will bring a strong background in construction safety, OSHA standards, and leadership. This role emphasizes hazard mitigation, proactive safety culture, and collaboration with field teams.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years in construction safety.
• Experience with General Contractors.
• Data center project experience required.
• Leadership role on a project is required.
• BCSP Certification (STS-C, CHST, etc.).
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and safety policies.
• Ability to identify safety improvements and take action.
• Strong prioritization skills during incidents.

Responsabilités

• Serve as on-site safety rep for contractor, ensuring compliance with safety requirements.
• Conduct daily site safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments with logs and reports.
• Implement, monitor, and enforce project safety plans and PPE requirements.
• Lead toolbox talks, safety orientations, and training for site personnel.
• Maintain on-site presence and participate in meetings to provide safety guidance.
• Investigate accidents and near misses; ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Mentor field safety staff and subcontractor safety reps.
• Support project-specific safety initiatives and compliance needs.
• Produce reports and develop safety procedures.

Site Safety Manager (Commercial Construction)

Diversified Safety Services is seeking an experienced full-time, on-site Safety Manager to oversee safety efforts on a large-scale construction project. This role requires a proven safety professional with strong leadership, hazard recognition, and risk mitigation skills to drive a proactive safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-site safety representative supporting the contractor, ensuring compliance with all project, client, and regulatory safety requirements.
• Conduct daily site safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments, and maintain accurate logs, reports, and safety documentation.
• Implement, monitor, and enforce project-specific safety plans, procedures, and PPE requirements.
• Lead toolbox talks, safety orientations, and training sessions for site personnel.
• Maintain regular on-site presence and actively participate in project and team meetings to provide proactive safety guidance.
• Investigate and document accidents, incidents, and near misses, ensuring corrective actions are taken to prevent recurrence.
• Mentor field safety staff and subcontractor safety representatives, promoting engagement and accountability.
• Support additional project-specific safety initiatives and compliance requirements as needed.
• Ability to produce reports and develop relevant policies
• Ability to provide detailed reports and develop safety procedures

Qualifications

• Must have at least 8 years of construction safety experience
• Must have previous experience working for a General Contractor
• Previous data center is required
• Previous experience being a lead on a project is requiredBCSP Certification is required (STS-C, CHST, etc)
• OSHA 30 is required
• Understanding of OSHA guidelines and safety policies
• Ability to recognize when safety conditions need improvement
• Ability to prioritize tasks, especially when handling an accident or incident
