  • Lead new hire orientations, site‑specific safety training, toolbox talks, and specialized training related to trenching, excavation, confined space entry, heavy equipment operations, and concrete activities.
  • Facilitate monthly safety meetings with supervisors and field leadership to review trends, lessons learned, and continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Respond to incidents, near misses, and safety concerns while assisting with investigations and root cause analyses.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and all federal, state, local, and KCC safety requirements.
  • Review and improve Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs), and pre‑task plans with field personnel.
  • Track safety observations, corrective actions, and follow‑up activities using KCC‑approved systems and documentation processes.
  • Compile and analyze safety metrics to identify trends and develop preventive action plans.
  • Collaborate with operations leadership to identify risks and implement practical, field‑appropriate solutions.

  • Proven success managing OSHA compliance, EMR performance, and incident prevention programs.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred.
  • Experience with trenching and excavation safety, heavy equipment operations, and concrete placement safety.
  • OSHA 500 or OSHA 510 with STSC certification required.
  • CSP, ASP, CHST, or additional professional safety certifications strongly preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability and willingness to travel between project sites throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area.
