Job summary

Sheakley seeks a Construction Safety Manager for a 1099 contractor role in Leipsic, OH, to support a major shutdown and expansion at a manufacturing facility. You will oversee safety during demolition, crane operations, electrical conduit, and equipment installation with a focus on regulatory compliance and incident investigations.

The position runs 1 month (9/7/26–10/12/26) at $56/hr, with 8 hours guaranteed and on-call weekends, plus a $150 monthly completion bonus. Pay is issued weekly.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification is required.
• Minimum 3+ years of construction safety experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily safety activities throughout all shutdown/expansion phases.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Monitor demolition, equipment installation, electrical conduit, and mechanical work.
• Support crane operations, rigging, and material handling safely.
• Ensure contractor compliance with OSHA regulations and project rules.
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Review JHA, permits, and pre-task plans; maintain records.

Required Qualifications
