Job summary

RECON Engineering & Construction is seeking an Assistant Safety Director to provide corporate- and project-level EH&S support. The role includes administering operator equipment training programs and conducting audits of equipment, tools, and PPE.

Responsibilities also cover project safety audits of material handling, housekeeping, job setup and work practices (hot work, working at heights, etc.), plus assisting in incident reporting and investigations with the project manager and monthly

Qualifications

• Current and working knowledge of applicable regulatory agency requirements (e.g. MSHA, OSHA, state).
• Some secondary education in Safety, Occupational Health, Engineering or related discipline.
• 3 or more years of experience working in refining or chemical operations in an HSE management role.
• 5 or more years of experience in Industrial or Construction industries.
