Job summary

CROSS SAFETY MANAGEMENT LLC is seeking a Safety Manager to lead and enforce site safety programs across US project sites. The role requires enforcing OSHA standards, conducting regular inspections, and driving corrective actions to prevent injuries and property damage.

Travel is required to support multiple sites and ensure compliance. The candidate should have OSHA 500 or BCSP certification and 6–10 years of construction safety experience, with strong MS Office skills and a proactive,

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of Construction Industry methods and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage and enforce Site Safety Programs for assigned projects.
• Identify, eliminate and control hazardous conditions to prevent injuries and property damage.
• Conduct daily/weekly site inspections and document observations.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near-misses and document findings.
• Recommend and implement corrective actions based on policy and law.
• Lead weekly Toolbox Safety Meetings and maintain attendance.
• Provide safety orientation for new employees.
• Advise project staff on site safety issues and guidelines.
• Evaluate need for safety training and make recommendations.

This is a 100% required travel position. Locations can be anywhere in the United States.

Responsibilities as a Safety Manager

Must be able to manage and enforce Site Safety Programs for the assigned project(s) by identifying, eliminating and controlling hazardous conditions that may lead to injury and/or property damage. By using and enforcing job specific safety standards, best management practices, and Site-Specific safety program, the Site Safety Supervisor shall ensure the safety of all persons and property on the job site resulting in an accident/incident free project.

Site Details

• Enforce safe work practices and safe working conditions in accordance with all State, Federal, Local regulations (including OSHA), as well as Site Specific policies and owner/contractual requirements.
• Conduct daily and/or weekly (as appropriate or specified by job) job site inspections.
• Record observations from site inspections and complete required reports.
• Investigate, corroborate, document, all accidents, incidents, and near misses on the jobsite.
• Recommend and implement corrective action based on policies, guidelines, and laws.
• Conduct weekly "Toolbox Safety Meeting' and document content and attendance.
• Conduct Safety Orientation for new employees.
• Advise project staff on site specific safety issues/guideline
• Evaluate the need for safety training and make recommendations
