The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety compliance, with a focus on accident prevention and regulatory adherence. Responsibilities will include conducting safety evaluations, managing accident investigations, and developing training programs.

This position manages safety programs, workers compensation, procedures, and policies addressing regulatory compliance, promoting strong safety culture, and injury/accident prevention at Sub-Zero Groups two manufacturing sites in Arizona. The major area of focus is on injury/accident prevention activities designed to reduce the incidence rate to below established goals for the organization.
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following: Primary Responsibilities:This position requires a pre‑employment drug/alcohol test and background check, which will be administered after a conditional job offer is extended. A negative drug/alcohol test result is required for employment. Refusal to take the test or a positive result may disqualify a candidate from further consideration. All drug testing will be conducted in accordance with federal and state laws.
Bachelors or better in Occup Health & Safety or related field.
3+ years people leadership experience
On‑going training and attendance at seminars, specifically OSHA compliance, machine guarding, laser training, robotics, and ergonomics.
10+ years progressive safety experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience managing workers compensation programs.
Prior leadership experience
Certification in Safety (CSP) or other related field is desirable.
