Job summary

Sheakley Workforce Staffing seeks a Construction Safety Manager for a 1-year 1099 contract at the Toyota Manufacturing Facility in Georgetown, KY. The role leads safety for the General Contractor and all subcontractors on site, ensuring adherence to project safety requirements and OSHA regulations.

The ideal candidate has Toyota project experience, OSHA 510 certification, and proven multi-trade construction safety leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily safety leadership for the General Contractor and all subcontractors on site.
• Maintain a highly visible presence throughout active work areas.
• Conduct routine site inspections, audits, observations, and hazard assessments.
• Monitor civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and general construction activities.
• Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs), permits, and pre-task plans.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, Toyota requirements, and project-specific safety standards.
• Identify unsafe conditions and coordinate timely corrective actions.
• Provide field coaching and reinforce safe work practices with craft personnel and subcontractors.
• Coordinate safety activities with project management, supervision, contractors, and owner representatives.
• Participate in incident investigations and corrective action implementation.
• Maintain required safety documentation, inspection records, and compliance reports.
• Promote a proactive safety culture throughout the project.

Construction Safety Manager

Location: Georgetown, KY
Duration: 1 Year (Start: 10/12)
Type: 1099 Contractor

Compensation & Schedule

Pay Rate: $59/hr
Per Diem: $140/Day (7 Days Per Week)
Completion Bonus: $150/month
Pay Frequency: Weekly
Schedule: Monday-Friday | Day Shift | 40-60 Hours Per Week
Additional Schedule Details: Hours may increase as project activity ramps up and construction milestones are reached.
