Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Safety and Environmental Manager to develop, implement, and administer safety programs across facilities, ensuring legal compliance and disaster preparedness. You will also manage claims and support security operations within a team environment.

  • Provide informative and professional assistance when working with the public/customers/vendors and coworkers.
  • Improve safety policies and procedures.
  • Monitor safety programs and implement changes necessary to ensure the health and safety of our associates.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Position Purpose

Responsible for developing, implementing and/or administering environmental, fleet safety and occupational health and safety programs to ensure applicable legal compliance and create and maintain a safe and secure working environment. Also responsible for facility security and disaster preparedness planning and effective management of claims (e.g., property and casualty – workers' compensation, auto liability and physical damage, and products/general liability). Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to

Required Qualifications

Compensation

$74,900 - $107,000; bonus opportunity 30% of base salary
