Job summary

Sheakley Risk & Safety Solutions seeks an experienced Safety Manager to oversee safety operations on two pipeline projects in Clarksville, IN. This role is a 1099 contractor with an ASAP start and ~50 hours per week, guiding safety across four crews.

Qualified candidates have OSHA 30, 2+ years in safety, and hands-on oil/pipeline experience. Per diem is $125/day; salary reflects a competitive hourly rate. Immediate start and robust safety leadership are essential.

Responsibilities

Sheakley Risk & Safety Solutions is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to oversee safety operations across two active pipeline projects in the Clarksville, IN area. This is a fast-moving opportunity for a safety pro who knows pipeline, rigging, and excavation work inside and out.

The Details

• Rate: $48 - $50/HR
• Per Diem: $125/day
• Expected Hours: 50/week
• Duration: 2+ months
• Start: ASAP

The Scope

You’ll be the safety authority across 4 crews performing upgrades and modifications on two pipeline projects in one area, including:

• Conducting daily site safety inspections across multiple active crews
• Overseeing rigging operations and excavation/trenching activities
• Monitoring compliance during pipeline upgrade and modification work
• Leading toolbox talks, JHAs, and incident prevention efforts
• Coordinating safety compliance across concurrent project sites

What You Need

• OSHA 30 certification
• 2+ years of safety experience
• Hands-on experience with rigging, excavation, and oil/pipeline work
• Workers Comp Coverage required
• Bonus: Operator Qualifications (OQ) experience
• Bonus: Experience with piping systems testing

Salary: $48 - $50 per hour
