Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an EHS Manager to lead safety across construction and operating sites, ensuring OSHA compliance and adherence to client requirements. The role focuses on proactive risk management, incident prevention, and continuous safety improvements.

The position serves as a key resource for project leaders and field personnel, promoting engagement, training, and safe work practices at all sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage site-specific Environmental Health & Safety programs and procedures.
• Promote a positive safety culture through visible leadership, coaching, and employee engagement.
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, assessments, and hazard analyses to identify and mitigate workplace risks.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, environmental requirements, client standards, and company policies.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action programs to prevent recurrence.
• Review and maintain safety documentation, reports, permits, training records, and regulatory compliance records.
• Facilitate safety meetings, toolbox talks, orientations, and ongoing employee safety training.
• Partner with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and field personnel to proactively address safety concerns.
• Monitor leading and lagging safety indicators and provide reporting to project and company leadership.
• Support pre-task planning activities, Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), and risk mitigation strategies.
• Oversee contractor safety compliance and participate in project planning to ensure safe execution of work activities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing incidents and improving overall safety performance.
• Assist with emergency response planning and coordinate responses to workplace incidents as needed.
