The salary range for this job posting is $77,450.00 - $138,790.00 annually + bonus + benefits. Pay Type: Salary
This range represents the full salary spectrum for this requisition. Final pay and job title will depend on location, education, experience, and other factors, and will fall within this range. The recruiter can provide more details during the hiring process.
This role is remote, based in North Carolina, South Carolina, with possible work in Georgia. Ideal candidates reside in the Charlotte Metro area. The listed salary range covers both senior and non-senior levels. A company vehicle will be provided.
The position reports to a Regional Vice President, Commercial Lines.
The Safety and Loss Control Consultant conducts loss analysis and research, performs on-site safety and loss prevention surveys, assesses safety efforts, detects hazards, and reports findings. The role involves making recommendations for hazard correction, participating in management training, researching safety standards and laws, and providing risk assessments to support underwriting decisions.
The Consultant works with standard to complex accounts, mentors trainees, and participates in policyholder training sessions alongside senior consultants. Knowledge across all property and casualty coverages, including General and Products Liability, Workers’ Compensation, Property, Auto/Fleet, and Risk Improvement, is essential.
