Job summary

A leading construction firm in Long Beach is seeking a Safety Coordinator to help ensure workplace safety compliance and accident prevention. Responsibilities include assisting with safety inspections, conducting accident investigations, and providing safety training to employees. The successful candidate will have a High School Diploma and excellent communication skills. This full-time position offers a salary range of $25-28/hour and benefits including PTO and health packages.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid Certified, OSHA 30 preferred.
• Ability to meet stringent deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with safety and health inspections.
• Conduct accident investigations.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA/CALOSHA.
• Prepare and update emergency response plans.
• Document daily safety walks.
