The Walsh Group - Walsh Construction & Archer Western is seeking Safety Interns for our Safety Division on projects in Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, and Tampa, Florida. The program prepares you for leadership roles and offers hands-on experience in project engineering and field management.

The internship runs for a minimum of 12 weeks, with opportunities to relocate and receive a living allowance. Benefits include medical insurance, paid holidays, 401(k) matching, and OSHA 10 trainings.

Qualifications

• Seeking a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Ability to commit to a 12-week program.
• Relocation may be required.

Responsabilités

• Participate in field safety walks.
• Help safety manager with first day safety orientations for new employees.
• Complete accident and incident reports.
• Oversee safety and health of personnel working on company jobsites.
• Help safety manager coordinate project safety programs with subcontractors, ensuring company safety policies and procedures are understood and implemented.
