Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Safety or Occupational Health.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Willing to travel frequently and work in a construction setting.

Responsibilities

• Promote compliance with the safety program and local accident prevention goals.
• Assist in development and implementation of safety programs to meet or exceed standards.
• Perform and document jobsite inspections and hazard recognition.
• Assist in safety meetings and training for effective policy communication.
• Participate in regulatory inspections to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Assist in reviewing job hazard analyses for major project phases.
• Help maintain records of third party, asset loss and workers’ compensation claims.
• Coordinate with the Corporate Insurance department to ensure timely claim resolution.
