Job summary

Six Flags in Ohio offers an internship in the Safety Department. You will conduct and document compliance audits, inspections, and investigations, while supporting emergency response and incident reporting.

The role requires strong leadership, guest service excellence, and a commitment to safety across park operations. You will work May–August, 32+ hours weekly, with evening and weekend shifts expected.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be attending an accredited college or university.
• Work a minimum of 8 weeks between May 1 and August 31.
• Availability: minimum 4 days per week, with at least 2 days including Fri/Sat or Sat/Sun.
• Work a minimum average of 32 hours per week.
• Attend required professional development events.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to pass background check and drug test as per policy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and document safety audits, inspections, and accident investigations.
• Supervise emergency response protocols during shifts and act as primary contact for incidents.
• Audit park facilities across multiple areas including food & beverage and rides for safety compliance.
