Job summary

Ohio CAT (a division of Ohio Machinery Co.) seeks a Safety & Environmental Specialist to support audits, root-cause analysis, and training across branch locations. You will assist with respiratory programs, hearing conservation, and regulatory reporting.

Travel to all branch locations four to five days per week; strong communication and teamwork are essential. An associate degree is preferred, or a HS diploma with 5 years of EH&S experience.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with others to achieve safety goals.
• Must be willing to travel to all branch locations 4–5 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Support Safety & Environmental audits, observations, inspections.
• Assist with root-cause analysis of incidents and action item tracking.
• Facilitate safety training (First Aid/CPR/AED, etc.) and regulatory reporting.
• Assist with MSHA training and hearing conservation programs.
