Job summary

Hensel Phelps in Washington is seeking Safety Interns to support the Safety Manager and the project team while gaining hands-on exposure to the construction process.

This internship helps interns learn the company Safety & Health Program, understand applicable safety regulations, and participate in site safety orientation and trainings.

You will be visible in the field for safety observations and contribute to a long-term career with Hensel Phelps after graduation.

Compensation Data (Washington Only)

Hourly Rate: $24-$26 (Depending on Experiance)

Job Description

Safety Interns primary goals are to gain an understanding of the construction process and to support the Safety Manager and the project team in the successful completion of a construction project. This position assists the project team in planning, monitoring work activities, and correcting unsafe acts or conditions. The internship program provides the intern and Hensel Phelps with an extended opportunity to evaluate if the fit is right for a long and successful career with Hensel Phelps after graduation.
